CivicReady collects nothing. There is no account, no server, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your progress never leaves your device.
CivicReady is a study app for the U.S. citizenship (naturalization) civics test, made by Snapcoder. It is built to work without collecting any information about you.
Data we collect
None. CivicReady has no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not collect, store or share any personal data.
Data stored on your device
Your choices (language, test version, state, daily goal, reminder time) and your study progress (flashcard progress, practice test history, streak) are saved only on your device. They are removed when you delete the app, or you can erase your progress at any time in Settings → Reset all progress.
Microphone and speech recognition
The mock interview and reading practice use the microphone and Apple speech recognition only while you hold the microphone button. Recognition runs on your device; audio and transcripts are not sent to us or stored by the app. You can turn off access at any time in iOS Settings.
Notifications
Study reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No notification data leaves your device.
Purchases
The optional lifetime unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. The app keeps only a flag on your device that Premium is unlocked.
Children
CivicReady does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published in the app and on this page with a new effective date.
